“Harvested Alive – 10 years of investigation”, which won a number of international documentary awards, premiered in Tainan on August 5. The film described how the Chinese Communist Part (CCP) is using the apparatus of the entire state to carry out an inhumane massacre, eliciting condemnation from various members of the audience – “this is outrageous! “, “very evil!” “destroying human morality!” “quite shocking!”

Attendees include people from all walks of life who are concerned about the persecution of Falun Gong by the CCP, such as Tainan City Councilor Xu Zhichun, founder of the food processing trade union Wei Chenyang, and Tong Yi International Company Chairman Wu Haiyang. They came in person to watch the film. Other parties like legislator Huang Weizhe, Tainan City Councilor Lin Yanzhu, City Councilor Li Wenzheng, and former deputy mayor of Tainan Yan Chunzuo sent representatives to lend their support.

The special assistant of Tainan City Councilor Li Wenzheng, Li Qiwei, said that the evil deeds committed by the CCP in harvesting organs from Falun Gong practitioners were condemned by the international community. They violate human rights and destroy human morality. He saw that the film had provided abundant evidence that the CCP is still continuing its practice of live organ harvesting, and he hoped that people would continue to voice their condemnation of the CCP.

He expressed his admiration of the righteous people who stood out and made their voices heard in the film. The executive director of corporate social responsibility, Yang Zhenqin, said that apart from highlighting the issue of live organ harvesting, the film also taught people about justice, instilling a sense of justice in kind-hearted people, and thus improve society as a whole.

“I am very angry! ” Mr. Zeng, who retired from China Steel, said that society under the CCP’s totalitarian rule was exactly the same as that of a prison, anyone who offends the CCP will potentially have one’s organs harvested, it was really abhorrent!

Today, he finally saw truthful reporting on the matter, “If I haven’t seen such truthful reporting, I won’t know that such a cruel thing is happening. “

Mr. Zeng hoped that the media should do more exposés, fulfill its role as a messenger of justice, find ways to dig out evidence of live organ harvesting and publish them to the international community, so that the 7 billion people in the world will know the truth and nobody with a conscience will go to China for organ transplantation.

Professor Wang Chung-yu, Chairman of the Rescue Falun Gong Practitioners Association of Taiwan, said that this film showed the public that live organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners is a crime that is committed by the state – this is a shocking revelation for many. He hoped that after watching the film and realizing the truth, the good conscience of people will be aroused; at the same time, everyone should, together, through various methods and influence, or at least in thought (if not in deed), reject this evil phenomenon and stop the persecution.

WOIPFG has released lists of the alleged perpetrators of the persecution: 76,132 individuals and 35,551 institutions were suspected of having participated in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. Among them, 7,716 individuals are from the “610 Office” system, and 9,816 individuals are from the Commission of Political and Legal Affairs. As of August, 2016, there have been a total of 82 series of reports on the live organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners in China for the past 10 years, implicating 891 Chinese hospitals and 9,519 doctors who are suspected of having committed the crimes. More than 10 thousand investigative phone calls have been made, and recipients include five Politburo Standing Committee members, one vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission (CMC), one Politburo member, one CMC member and former defense minister, and one department head of the People’s Liberation Army. ◇
